Since nobody has asked me any questions about the site yet, these are just the questions I imagine that I might get asked frequently, were people to suddenly get very interested in this website and want to know lots about it.If you have a question which isn't covered on this page, do EMAIL ME, and I'll see what I can do!
Who is Sarah Jane Smith, and why does she need a Wardrobe Appreciation Society?
If you don't know the answer to this question, you obviously haven't been watching nearly enough Doctor Who. Run to the DVD shop and stock up at the earliest opportunity, and in the meantime, check out Sarah's Character Profile to find out more about her. And, she needs a Wardrobe Appreciation Society because all of her outfits were so awesome, and so is she. End of.
Who runs this website?
To find that out, go to the About Us page, but if you can't be bothered even to do that, we are a group of Sarah Jane fans who don't really have the time to put this together, but do anyway.
Do you plan to chronicle Sarah's outfits and activities in the forthcoming Sarah Jane Adventures?
Of course! We want this website to be a completely comprehensive guide to everything Sarah Jane ever did, said or wore.
How come you have pages for the Audio Adventures when you can't see what Sarah is wearing in them?
Well, while the original idea of this site was to look at Sarah's outfits, it's also about her character generally, and what she does and says as well as what she wears. So apart from the actual Wardrobe Appreciation section of the guide, there's no reason why we shouldn't cover non-TV stuff.
So in that case, what about original novels? Short stories? Comics?
I'd love to start covering these, and sometime soon I will get off my lazy behind and do it, so watch this space!
Can I use the pictures from your site for my own project?
I do all of the screen captures on the site myself, and I'm very happy for people to use them.
However, I would ask that you right-click-and-save instead of hotlinking, because too much hotlinking is bad for you.
Also, I know there is no real way for me to dictate what the pictures are used for, but it would be nice if they weren't used for anything disrespectful to Sarah Jane or the actress who embodies her, Elisabeth Sladen.
When you use our screen captures, a credit to us is not necessary, but it would be appreciated, as would a little message to let us know you've taken them, just so that we can be happy that we've spread the Sarah Jane love.
