[…] But he's got to turn up and catch her or I'll never get them in bed together!' - Writing her first novel, Sarah clearly has her priorities straight... • 'How's the greatest novel of the twentieth century coming along?' 'Now, don't you start! I'm having enough trouble with Garcia O'Toole and his lady love!' - Jeremy and Sarah • 'Writing bestsellers – that's the thing. Winning the Booker and being rich and famous so nobody can muck you about!' - Sarah • 'Oh, call yourself a journalist?' 'You're just nosy!' 'That's right!' - Sarah and Jeremy • 'I feel like a refugee from Pride and Prejudice!' - Sarah, on her 19th Century costume • 'Take him away, cast him into the deepest dungeon where he cannot practice his evil art! And take his catamite with him!' - The Barone, on the Doctor and Sarah • 'Well, thank you for not saying I told you so.' 'Only because I didn’t; you didn't give me a chance! It was the daftest idea… Oh, yes, and another thing…' 'Oh, what?' 'Does catamite mean what I think it does?' 'I'm afraid so.' 'Hmm. Thought it might.' - The Doctor and Sarah • 'Ouroboros is a winged snake, crowned like a king, forever eating his own tail!' 'Well, lucky old Ouroboros!' - The Doctor and a grumpy Sarah • 'Oh, ye of little faith! Do you think the Doctor didn't know what he was doing?' - At this early stage in their relationship, Sarah still thinks the Doctor actually has a clue... • 'Why did I ever think I could write a novel, Jeremy? I'm a journalist, and that's what I'll always be!' - Sarah The Panel Said... Sarah Watch: paranoidangel: She was quite funny trying to write a romance novel and following the Brigadier about. The rest I don't really remember 5/10 Llin: She's very nosy, and brave stopping the clock, plus she dresses up in costumes which is always fun even if you can't see it! 7/10 Story Watch: paranoidangel: Even after listening to it I still wasn't sure what the plot was. It was vaguely entertaining but made no sense. 5/10 Llin: It has some really fun moments, even if it is completely bizarre... 6/10 |
