The Sarah Jane Adventures Jelly Bean Race Created by Llin and Sarah_JaneSmith'What's a Jelly Bean Race?' - I hear you cry... Well - first of all, find some jelly beans, or a close equivalent. You will need a lot of them. Secondly, gather together as many friends as you can muster - it helps if they also like The Sarah Jane Adventures, or they may be a bit reluctant to participate. Each person needs to have the same amount of jelly beans, maybe a large cupful. Now, hunt down the copies of the Sarah Jane Adventures episodes which you undoubtedly taped or recorded onto your digibox, and prepare to watch them. Then, divide the list below between you, so that you each have several things to look out for. Press Play, and then watch out for these things: Eat one jelly bean when: Sarah says: 'Mr Smith, I need you.' Chrissie gets Sarah's name wrong Luke does something that's clever and stupid at the same time A bad guy calls Sarah old Someone who previously called Sarah old gets their come-uppance The villain compliments Sarah Somebody uses some sort of teen slang Clyde gives Luke advice The Doctor is mentioned indirectly Someone uses their mobile phone UNIT gets a mention Alan makes a cheesy joke Luke doesn't understand something Anyone runs Maria shouts at somebody Sarah tells the children off Someone mentions an adventure that was never seen onscreen Something gets blown up Sarah's job as a journalist is mentioned Sarah uses the sonic lipstick Sarah rescues the children One of the children rescues Sarah People hug Someone says 'Raxacoricofallapatorius' Sarah drives her car When one of these things happens, everyone has to eat as many jelly beans as they can cram into their mouth in one go: Sarah wears the Coat of Awesome The world is about to be destroyed The Doctor is mentioned by name K9 turns up The winner is the first person to get rid of all of their jelly beans. To succeed, you need to have strong powers of observation, and a large mouth. Good luck! |
