Doctor Who and the Pescatons Story: Doctor Who and the PescatonsSynopsis: Sarah and the Doctor defend the Earth from invasion by evil shark-creatures. Sarah Moments: • She finds an MOD notice board on the beach, and the first of the creatures • She rescues and takes care of a lost baby • She and the Doctor sneak around the London Underground hunting a Pescaton • She works out how to defeat the Pescatons Capture, Rescue and Mortal Peril: • She and the Doctor run from a horrific monster! • A Pescaton tries to attack Sarah and the baby – the Doctor distracts it by singing and dancing Quotes: • ‘Fish who can build a spacecraft and fly off to other planets?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Sounds a bit far-fetched to me, Doctor.’ – Despite regularly travelling through time and space, Sarah manages to maintain a healthy degree of scepticism • ‘Oh, please, be quiet, baby, shh – we’ve got enough problems on our hands!’ – Sarah shows off her fancy maternal instincts • ‘I’ve never known you to be so tetchy in the face of danger.’ ‘Who said I’m tetchy? I’m just angry, that’s all! None of this need have happened.’ ‘You’re tetchy. And do you have any suggestions as to how it could have been avoided?’ ‘Yes! Everyone should have been prepared. I mean, you and I have been together long enough to know there are plenty of hostile planets throughout the universe, and any one of them could do what the Pescatons are doing now!’ – The Doctor and Sarah The Panel Said... Sarah Watch: paranoidangel: I'm not sure anyone does anything much worth mentioning in this one. 5/10 Llin: Sarah's scenes are great fun, and she does work out how to save the day, but she isn't in it much... 6/10 Story Watch: paranoidangel: I think there was a plot, I just failed to find it. 3/10 Llin: Very dull in places. 4/10 |
