Quotes: ⢠âWasn't expecting to see you here, Mumâ¦' 'Well, it's nice to spend time with some adults for a change!' - Luke and Sarah ⢠'Oh! Sarah, Rani, over here!' 'Sarah Jane, my name is Sarah Jane!' 'That's what I said!' - Gita and Sarah. Well, I'm not going to start calling her Sarah Jane all the time now... ⢠'I'm being strangely drawn to a Sarah Jane Smithâ¦' - Aren't we all, Mr Trueman, aren't we all... ⢠'Ah, Taurus! Strong, determined. Now, you were born under a very special star â Neptune in your Fifth House. Some years ago, you travelled far and wide, and ah, the things you have seen. And there was a man, a very special man. No, no, let me think â it wasn't a romance. No, no, it was something much more than that. He taught you so much. There was laughter and adventure, and you prayed that your time with him would never, never end. But then suddenly, he left you. A man with no name â a scientist? No â a doctor. The Doctor.' - Trueman gets personal ⢠'And as for you â Secret Sarah, Woman of Mystery!' - Gita gifts us with the best nickname ever for Sarah! ⢠'Whatever particular day it is, that doesn't matter. You're not celebrating the day, you're celebrating the person.' - Sarah comforts Luke about birthdays ⢠'Just remember you're strong, I've seen you learn. You're my son, and you're brilliant!' - Sarah's the best mum ever. Apart from the constant danger, obviously. ⢠'I'm off to see Trueman!' 'Have you made an appointment?' 'Oh, no. This is going to be an old-fashioned foot-in-the-door job!' - Sarah and Rani, and another lesson in practical journalism ⢠'First rule of journalism - never take no for an answer!' - Sarah ⢠'There is no end, there doesn't have to be. Learning, finding out about the universe â that's all the wonder and beauty and strangeness I'll ever need. Often it's more than enough!' - Sarah justifies her thirst for knowledge ⢠'Now she'll keep away.' 'No, no, she's a Taurus â among other things. Determined, brave â she'll keep interfering.' - Cheryl and Trueman, on Sarah ⢠'I'm sorry, Sarah Jane.' 'No, you couldn't help yourself. Believe me, I know what it's like to be taken over.' - Clyde and Sarah ⢠'What was it? What's so special about me?' 'Oh! So many things!' - Clyde and Sarah, being adorable! ⢠'He's my son, and he's the centre of my universe.' - Sarah, on Luke ⢠'Up! Down! Up!' 'What are you doing?' 'I just wondered if you were under my control now!' 'Good idea! We could get him to clean the car!' - Luke, Clyde and Sarah ⢠'Today, me being different was a good thing.' 'Today, you being different saved the world!' 'Why don't we celebrate this day, then?' 'That's a great idea!' 'Every year, this can be my special day!' 'Deal!' 'Can I have presents?' 'Oh, whatever you want! Plus cards, cakes, lots and lots of attention â and a party, oh, how about a party?' - Luke and Sarah, yay! Wardrobe Appreciation Yes, folks, it's the moment we've been waiting for! Sarah wears a skirt! Although in hindsight, she was probably also wearing it at the beginning of The Last Sontaran, we just didn't get a good look at it... Tricky to get a decent shot of it this time around, too, but here we go anyway!
![]() Soon she's back to the usual, but still looking lovely, of course! ![]() Another wish comes true, in that we finally get a half-decent shot of Sarah's boots.
