 Story: Terror of the Zygons - Season 13, Story 80 Year: 1975 Written by: Robert Banks Stewart Directed by: Douglas Camfield Synopsis: Sarah, Harry, the Brigadier and the Doctor get caught up in the mystery surrounding Loch Ness... Sarah Moments: * She laughs at the poor Brigadier's kilt! * She talks to Angus about his Second Sight * She takes a phone call and finds out that Harry has been shot! * She sits at Harry's bedside, and comforts him when he wakes up * She nurses the UNIT boys after they all get drugged * She actually starts to write an article  * She orders UNIT about when they search for Harry * She works out that they're being watched * While researching in the library, she finds the secret passage to the Zygon ship * She worries about the Doctor * She answers UNIT's phone Capture, Rescue and Mortal Peril: * She gets grabbed by a Zygon and locked in a decompression unit * The Doctor finds her, but then they both get locked in, and the air starts pumping out... * The Doctor hypnotises her to keep her from suffocating   * Fake Harry pushes her over, she chases him, and he tries to kill her with a pitchfork!  * She rescues Harry from the Zygon ship  Quotes: * 'Well, has anything ever happened to anyone up there?' 'Aye - there was a man, a foreigner from the Black Isle, stayed at this very inn. He went out on the moor ' never seen again.' 'Oh ' he left without paying his bill, did he?' - A sceptical Sarah, and Angus * 'Evil spirits haunt Tullock Moor!' 'Maybe. But I'm certain of one thing, Mr MacRanald - evil spirits don't destroy oil rigs!' - Angus and Sarah * 'Halloo, Fox Inn!' - Sarah, answering the phone in a comedy Scottish accent * 'Doctor, I can't breathe!' 'Shut up and save your breath!' - Sarah and the Doctor in the decompression unit * 'Excellent! Now the female human is alone!' - The Zygons, showing deplorable unoriginality... * 'Why do I always get the dirty jobs?' - Sarah, on having to research in the dusty library * 'Is it you?' What do you mean, is it me?' 'Is it really you?' 'Well, of course it... what on Earth's the matter with you, old girl?' - Sarah only believes it's Harry when he uses her most despised term of endearment... * 'Not much light...' 'Maybe somebody should tell the Energy Congress!' - The Doctor and Sarah, in a dark room in the same building as the First International Energy Conference * 'All right. Providing we do go straight back to London.' 'Oh yes, oh we will, I promise.' - Sarah agrees to another trip in the TARDIS Wardrobe Appreciation Sarah only has one outfit in this story. It looks fine, but it's not so exciting as some of her others. But, we do get a glimpse of her wearing the Doctor's hat! Which makes up for it!  The rest is a matching jacket and trousers thing. Nice colour.    Underneath, she has a very nice sweater.   And the boots are, as ever, fabulous.  The Panel Said... Style Watch: paranoidangel: I just find that green thing very odd. The boots are cool, as always, and I like her white jumper. But marks for wearing the Doctor's hat, she looks good in it 7/10 Llin: This is fine, but not really exciting. The jumper is lovely though. And the boots. And she wears the Doctor's hat!!! 7/10 hhertzof: I rather like the outfit, but as usual she's shedding bits all over the landscape - and people claim the Doctor wears too many layers. 9/10 Cadi: I really like the ensemble, weird though it is. I quite like the colour, and the boots are absolutely to die for. The sweater has a really nice shape to it too. And wearing the Doctor's hat is too cute for words! 9/10 Sarah_JaneSmith: I don;t like the green thing, it's too dull, but i love her wearing the Doctors hat 5/10 Sarah Watch: paranoidangel: Despite everything else she does I just can't quite get over Sarah going off to ring the Doctor before Harry has told her everything. 7/10 Llin: She does plenty of finding out and rescuing and stuff! 8/10 hhertzof: Sarah alternates between being competent and well, not. 7/10 Sarah_JaneSmith: Again I cant remember her doing anything that remarkable in this episode, however when she finds Harry in the Zygon ship did anyone else notice that he kinda touches her boobs? lol 5/10 Story Watch: paranoidangel: I like this one, with the Doctor and the Brig dressing all Scottish, Sarah and Harry wearing the Doctor's hat and scarf, and Sarah only believing Harry really is Harry when he calls her old girl. And the Loch Ness Monster! 9/10 Llin: Nice to see UNIT back in the picture again, lots going on in this one! 7/10 hhertzof: Loch Ness Monster and the Brig in a kilt for the win. 9/10 Sarah_JaneSmith: I don't like this one at all, i don't get it, too confusing 5/10 Bonus Pictures  Here's what a Zygon looks like, if you really wanted to know...  If I had a TARDIS, I'd be looking pretty smug too..  Poor Harry, all wounded and bewildered   "Loch Ness Monster? Whatever."  The Brigadier looking awesome in a kilt  Pretty!  Scary Harry!  A lighthearted moment... aww |
