• ‘Oh, K-9, why didn’t I listen to you?’ - Sarah, when the imminent danger that K-9 warned her about appears
• ‘Oh! I never thought I’d be so pleased to see anyone!’ - Sarah, when the Third Doctor helps her out
• ‘Wait a moment – it’s you!’ ‘Of course it’s me! Hello, Sarah Jane!’ ‘No, no, but – it’s you you!’ ‘That’s right!’ ‘No, no, you changed, remember? You became all… um... um...’ (She gestures helplessly) ‘Teeth and curls?’ ‘Yes!’ ‘Yes, and maybe I did. But I haven’t yet!’ ‘I see. No I don’t. Never mind.’ - Sarah and the Doctor
• ‘No, we can’t leave him!’ ‘You just watch me!’ - Sarah and the Doctor, on the Master
• ‘I can’t go along there! I get vertigo!’ - Sarah, at the prospect of a very high, narrow path
• ‘Okay, let’s go then! And if I don’t fall off that path, I’ll probably die of fright!’ - Sarah, being resigned
• ‘Now what do we do, fly?’ ‘What a splendid idea!’ - Sarah and the Doctor, trapped on a cliff
• ‘Enjoy the flight?’ ‘Oh! Great!’ - The Doctor and Sarah, after reaching the Dark Tower
• ‘Drag you through time and space without so much as a by-your-leave, then leave you out when things get interesting!’ - Sarah on travelling with the Doctor

Wardrobe Appreciation

Since this is a very special episode, we have a very special wardrobe review for you! Yes, we're going to take a look at not just Sarah's outfits, but everyone else's too!

First up, Tegan Jovanka, with her hunormous fur coat, interestingly patterned dress and wicked shoes:

Next, it's Turlough. Trousers, shirt, tie, blazer. Does the boy have any other clothes?

Susan pops in too, in a nice trench coat and somewhat questionable jumper...

The Brigadier is looking very smart...

Jamie looks suitably Scottish

Zoe looks suitably... bubble-wrapped...

Liz Shaw is scary, but sensibly dressed

Mike Yates is all soldiery

Romana has a pretty hat and a white dress

And Sarah herself... Well, I have been known to say that Sarah Jane Smith looks good in anything, but not even she could rescue this one.
I'm not even going to describe. Just look.
If you dare.

(I know I said I wouldn't describe, but gloves on string? On a grown-up?!)

(Actually the boots are kind of awesome...)

The Panel Said...

Style Watch:

paranoidangel: That outfit is just terrible and the coat doesn't go at all. The boots are quite nice, so 1/10.
Llin: I know I said in the main review that it was terrible - and it is - but the more I look at it, the less terrible it seems. It's really starting to grow on me, God help me... 4/10
hhertzof: Ugh. I almost like the purple raincoat, but the outfit beneath is horrible (and apparently she thinks so too, because she keeps losing bits of it). In the pink, it looks like she's pregnant. 1/10
Cadi: Erm...the outfits in this hurt my brain. Only the men look reasonably dressed (although Sarah's white boots are cool!). And what did they do to her hair!?!? 2/10
Sarah_JaneSmith: What the hell was she thinking??? no i do not like this one at all 1/10

Sarah Watch:

paranoidangel: I'm struggling to find a single use for her in this story. She just seems to be scared at everything and not have any clue what's going on. 1/10
Llin: OK, so she isn't much use, but she does go on the Death Slide which is pretty darn brave. 4/10
hhertzof: Sweet reunion between her and the Doctor, beyond that she could have been replaced by Jo and the story would have been the same. 2/10
Sarah_JaneSmith: a bit useless but i love the bit at the start with K9 2/10

Story Watch:

paranoidangel: This story was just bizarre. I could have quite happily skipped all except the last couple of minutes. 2/10
Llin: Quite confusing and mishmashy, but worth it so see such a random collection of companions running around together! 6/10
hhertzof: I like it for the sheer absurdity, but not that much 6/10
Sarah_JaneSmith: : I don't get it, this guy Rassilon is kidnapping them all to turn them into Action Figures?? what?? 1/10
