You’ve studied physiology, you know how to handle a scalpel!’ ‘To dissect dead specimens, yes, but Charles is a human being.’ ‘Well, he won’t be much longer if you don’t operate!’ - Moberley and Sarah • ‘Have you met Miss Smith? She’s my best friend.’ ‘Is she? And still beautifully intact, I see.’ ‘I try my best, under the circumstances.’ - The Doctor, Harrison Chase and Sarah • ‘I’ve heard of flower power, but that is ridiculous.’ - Sarah, on Chase's plants • ‘What a very uncooperative young lady.’ Chase, on Sarah • ‘You can’t tackle them singlehanded!’ ‘Why not? I’ve got a pistol.’ ‘But you’d never use it!’ ‘True. But they don’t know that, do they?’ - Sarah and the Doctor • ‘Scorby! All the guards have left! I think they’ve made a run for it!’ ‘Typical! Just like a bunch of women!’ ‘And I heard screams from the West Garden, but I didn’t go out.’ ‘Let’s take a look.’ ‘Look, we’d better stay put.’ ‘He just said he heard a scream – obviously someone is in trouble!’ ‘Well, what can we do with that thing roaming about out there?’ ‘What was that you just said about women?’ - Hargreaves and Scorby, and Sarah • ‘I feel as though I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards!’ - Sarah, after narrowly escaping death by potted plant • ‘This isn’t Cassiopeia…’ ‘No… it’s Antarctica!’ ‘We’re back where we started!’ ‘Yes.’ ‘We won’t get a suntan here!’ - Sarah and the Doctor Wardrobe Appreciation Another busy time for the wardrobe department, as Sarah zips between the Antarctic and sunny England. She starts off with this big coat, suitable for sub-zero temperatures: ![]() Underneath, for indoors, there's this charming outfit... ![]() And because you can never be too warm in the Antarctic, she has snow boots and a hat and scarf, too: ![]() Soon we're back where temperatures are sensible, and Sarah changes into this: ![]() First with a coat on, and then without: ![]() ![]() Boots! ![]() The final outfit we see very briefly, as the Doctor tries to take Sarah on a well-earned holiday: ![]() The Panel Said... Style Watch: Sarah_JaneSmith: i like the snow outfit, her big coat is adorable, plus mittens on a string! the second outfit is ok, i like the coat, but i only like the bottom hlaf of the brown outfit, she should wear shorts more often, the top half just doesnt do it for me. I'd have loved to have seen more of the little red thing at the end though. 7/10 Llin: I love the yellow dungarees, and the strange skirt outfit is fab! 8/10 paranoidangel: I like the brown outfit and her big, thick coat, but the yellow dungarees look fake and plastic to me for some reason. 7/10 Sarah Watch: Sarah_JaneSmith: She's quite brave in this one, and she attacks the krynoid with a little axe, cool! 7/10 Llin: She's pretty chilled in the face of peril. 7/10 paranoidangel: She does end up needing to be rescued a lot but then that's because she's into everything. 6/10 Story Watch: Sarah_JaneSmith: i'm not wild about this episode, i think it should have been a 4 parter, but it's quite creepy and Sarah's cute. 6/10 Llin: I completely love this one! Evil plants, crazy weird geniuses, the Antarctic... yay! 9/10 paranoidangel: It's not bad but The Avengers did it better. 6/10 Bonus Pictures ![]() Sarah in the snow ![]() The Doctor's feeling grumpy... ![]() Sarah, being stealthy ![]() They got captured a lot in this one... ![]() Woah... ![]() Smiley Sarah! And now, cute pictures of Sarah and the Doctor: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
